- In the 1990s, Auckland’s northern motorway was extended from near Albany to Orewa.
- Has this had a positive spin-off for the region? If so, how big?
- A new methodology, recently adopted in the UK & USA, has been used to answer these questions
- The calculated benefits are compared with those from traditional benefit-cost analysis, and the answers raise some questions about the adequacy of traditional methods
