Progressing Australian lending standards

The inaugural LIXI Industry Forum was a resounding success with over 200 attendees involved in a day of active discussions and networking amongst the lending industry at the Westin in Sydney. On behalf of LIXI, we would like to thank everyone involved for their contribution to the success of the event.

From the opening presentations by Wes Nason of Citi Investment Research and Ian Coventry of EDS to the final business and technical streams and Blue Sky session, it is clear that there is an abundance of ideas, suggestions and passion shared amongst members and the industry for the advancement of LIXI standards and the industry body itself. Panel sessions with brokers, lenders and valuers through the day were a popular platform for audience members to directly question and voice their concerns to industry leaders, and demonstrated that both business and technical advancements were key to players throughout the lending chain.

The Blue Sky discussion session provoked both light bulbs and shaking of the head from the audience, with many new ideas and topics for LIXI to consider - these will also be made available in due course.

LIXI is dedicated to developing e-Commerce standards and removing barriers to electronic exchange within the Australian lending industry, and will use the feedback and outcomes of the LIXI Industry Forum in further assisting its members.

If you have any comments, feedback or suggestions for the event, please contact InAssociation on (02) 9231 1099 or email here. We look forward to seeing you at the next LIXI event.
