The Australian Securitisation Forum (ASF) is dedicated to promoting development of securitisation in Australia, representing banks, mortgage originators, dealers, issuers, investors, insurers, trustees and law and accounting firms.

ASF Evening Series are designed to keep members updated on current issues and themes in the industry, and combine topical expert discussions with social networking functions.

The ASF Evening Series brings members together regularly in Sydney and Melbourne throughout the year so that all members can capitalise on the knowledge and networking capacity of the ASF.

Viability for pricing transparency - ASF Evening Series Aug

Thank you to all those who attended the ASF Evening Series on pricing transparency in Sydney and Melbourne.

Rob Camilleri of Portfolio Partners, Chairman of the new Transparency Taskforce established by the ASF, led discussions with investors, originators and pricing providers on transparency in the RMBS asset class. Panellists agreed that the current OTC market lacked a lot of transparency in the pricing of securities, and that establishing accountability was key to defining the best methodology going forward.

Attendees also heard from recently appointed Chair of the European Securitisation Forum, Cecilia Tarrant, who provided a brief market update.
