More than 400 delegates attended AB+F’s inaugural Mortgage Innovation Conference. The event was an opportunity to look at the new mortgage landscape in 2010 and what it will look like going forward. Highlights over the two days included keynote speakers Dr. Guy Debelle, Assistant Governer, Reserve Bank of Australia who gave a comprehensive overview and outlook for the mortgage market. 

John Symond from Aussie who implored the mortgage industry to embrace innovation, and Commonwealth Bank’s Ross McEwan who looked at the mortgage processing journey and future opportunities.

The panel discussions  were lively and gave a sense that the market participants are quietly optimistic about embracing innovation and the oportunity it presents.

The gala dinner at the end of day one was a success with Scared Weird Little Guys filling the room with laughter.
