| | NZCID Building Nations Symposium 2009
The fourth annual Building Nations symposium was held from Wednesday, 12 August to Thursday, 13 August 2009 at a landmark venue in Wellington, Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa. This event brought together 250 delegates, three leading government ministers and the cream of the government and private sector infrastructure professionals to discuss policy finance and investment strategies and ideas for the future.
With Hon Bill English (Click here for his speech) kicking off the two day conference with genuine insight and enthusiasm for progress in this sector the mood of the conference was one of cautious optimism that the infrastructure industry from both government and private enterprise can work effectively together to bridge the gap and reduce the deficit in Infrastructure investment.
